Who we are
I’m an Edmonton-based artist, and I’ve lived here my whole life. I grew up surrounded by prairie landscapes—wide skies, open fields, and the quiet rhythm of grass moving in the wind. That environment shaped the way I see. I became drawn to subtle moments: how light stretches across a field in the evening, how colour shifts through the seasons, how something simple can feel expansive and grounding at the same time. Even now, I return to those elements often, especially the movement and texture of grass, as a foundation in my work.
While the prairies are home, my practice has been deeply influenced by time spent in the Rockies and through travel. Experiencing those landscapes introduced a different kind of presence—more dramatic, layered, and immersive. The contrast between the openness of the prairies and the scale of the mountains continues to shape how I approach composition, light, and atmosphere in my paintings.
My work focuses on florals and landscapes, exploring the feeling of being in nature rather than simply documenting it. I’m interested in creating pieces that feel calm, expansive, and restorative—something that allows people to slow down and reconnect, even within an interior space.
Alongside my studio work, I collaborate with both homeowners and businesses to create custom pieces and murals. Whether it’s a painting for a private space or a larger installation, my goal is the same: to bring a sense of natural beauty, stillness, and connection into everyday environments.
